EtherCAT®-based measurement modules for decentralized use under demanding conditions: Robust, very compact and with six time-synchronous strain gauge inputs for quarter, half and full bridges.


  • 6 time-synchronous strain gauge inputs for quarter, half and full bridges in 6- and 4-wire connections
  • Realization of quarter bridges via external quarter bridge supplement in the connection cable in conjunction with TEDS: This allows for highly accurate measurements, on account of the proximity of the bridge completion to the point of measurement
  • Measurement data rate up to 20 kHz per channel
  • No risk of confusion, because the point of measurement and the completion resistor are identified in TEDS
  • Precise acquisition due to very small input voltage range
  • Adjustable excitation voltage from 1 to 10 V
  • High resistance to interference due to ratiometric measuring principle and configurable software filter

The strain gauge measurement modules of the STG6 ECAT series allow multi-channel strain gauge measurements under demanding conditions. Thanks to their compact and robust housing, they can be used in a decentralized manner. Up to 100 measurement modules can be cascaded electrically and mechanically, allowing even large objects to be tested easily and with many measurement points.

The extended range of the excitation voltage from 1 to 10 V makes the STG6 pro BS20 suitable for many applications. In addition, with the automatic selection of the input voltage range and the very good signal-to-noise ratio, extremely small measurement signals can be accurately acquired.
