High-Voltage Safe Measurement Systems
The HV Breakout Module (BM) type 1.1 has been specially designed for safe and precise single-phase measurement in single HV voltage power cables. Inner conductor current and voltage are measured directly and the instantaneous power is calculated in the module.
The HV Breakout Modules (BM) Type 1.2 have been specially designed for safe and precise single-phase measurement in separated HV+ and HV- power cables. Inner conductor current and voltage are measured directly and the instantaneous power is calculated in the module.
The HV Breakout Module (BM) Type 3.1 is suitable for three-phase current, voltage and power measurement at three-phase charging stations with HV voltage carrying cables with currents up to ±32 A.
The HV Breakout Module (HV B) 3.1 OBC (on-board-charger) is particularly suitable for measurements during AC charging processes of electric and hybrid vehicles due to its current measurement ranges.
The HV Breakout Modules (BM) Type 3.3 have been specially designed for safe and precise three-phase measurement in HV power cables. The inner conductor currents and outer conductor voltages are directly acquired and output via XCP-on-Ethernet.
The HV Breakout Modules (HV BM) are installed directly in the HV power cables and are capable of measuring current directly from the inner conductor, voltage and calculating instantaneous power. Due to the direct measurement from the HV power cables and the integrated shielding, the measurement results are improved compared to other methods.
The HV Breakout Modules enable the calculation of RMS and power values in the module from the internal sampled values of current and voltage. The calculated values are output via CAN and XCP-on-Ethernet, depending on the module type. This makes it easy to perform various analyses in the road test and without the use of special hardware and software.
