Reliable CAN Measurement Technology
CSM offers these modules for temperature measurements with increased accuracy requirements compared to thermocouples. PTMM evo modules allow high-precision temperature measurements with either PT100 or PT1000 RTD elements.
PTMM evo is available in two versions with either four or eight measurement channels. PTMM evo thus expands CSM's product portfolio with modules for high-precision temperature measurements for use in distributed measurement applications in test drives and on test benches.
A measurement data rate of 100 Hz per channel, an extended operating temperature range of ‑40 °C to +125 °C and last but not least a reduced power consumption make these modules an excellent choice, especially for measurement applications using sensors with short response times.
To achieve best possible accuracy results, PTMM evo modules can be parameterized by means of individual PT coefficients (R0, A, B and C). This allows the use of low-accuracy PT sensors if required.

CSM’s Thermo MiniModules (THMM) allow precise distributed temperature measurements with K-, J- and T-type thermocouples: ideal for measurements in the powertrain, on HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning) components, in the vehicle interior, the powertrain development and many more.
Temperature measurements play an important role in all development phases: from individual components up to the complete system. Temperatures are always an important factor in further increasing efficiency and driving comfort. Proven for years, CSM thermal measurement modules enable efficient temperature measurements in the entire vehicle in all development stages. CSM’s temperature measurement modules are ideal for use in the lab or in the field for mobile tests in the vehicle. With CSM temperature modules all common sensors like type K, type J or type T thermocouples as well as PT100 and PT1000 sensors can be used.
Numerous measurement variables in vehicle development and testing can be recorded with sensors that reproduce their respective measured variable as an analog voltage. For example, distance, pressure, flow rates, moisture, vibration and noise can be easily measured.
