WLTP Power Measurement of Electric and Hybrid Vehicles

New application example

In this application example you will learn, how consumption values of electrical energy can be measured according to WLTP.

For the type approval of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, the consumption values must be specified according to the WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light-Duty Vehicles Test Procedure). The consumption of electrical energy during the specified driving cycles must also be measured for new electric or hybrid vehicles.

The Vector CSM E-Mobility Measurement System offers a simple solution to determine the consumption values of electrical energy with a simple measurement setup and in road tests.

You can find the complete application example and report for download here.
