Space for installing measurement technology in the HV electrical system of test vehicles is often very limited. In our new application example, we show how currents and voltages can nevertheless be measured safely and precisely.
Accurate analyses of currents and voltages in the HV vehicle electrical system during test drives are indispensable for verifying development steps. However, space for installing the necessary measurement technology in electric and hybrid vehicles can be very limited due to cable routing between components and in cable ducts.
With the HV BM Split Modules, measurements can be performed in the inner conductors of HV cables with high data rates and low susceptibility to interference, even under these confined space conditions.
