Quick start-up

Data recording starts from approx. 600 ms after “Power On”. A start delay can be defined for the start of recording.

Low power consumption

In standby mode, the loggers impress with their very low power consumption of less than 1 mA at 12 V (12 × Wake-on-CAN). This means that the load on vehicle electrical systems is minimal. In normal operation, consumption is typically around 3 W.

Use in harsh environments

The UniCAN3 data loggers have been designed for use in harsh environmental conditions. Data is also recorded reliably in the event of vibrations, such as those that occur in road tests. For this purpose, the loggers are tested for compatibility with vibration and shock in a laboratory.

With the extended operating temperature range of -40 °C to +80 °C, they are suitable for reliable use in challenging environmental conditions.

Everything in a compact housing

In addition to the technology required for data recording, the compact housing combines other components that make the data loggers a true all-in-one solution: LTE, WLAN and GPS are integrated into the housing. This eliminates the need for additional peripheral devices and saves installation effort and space.

Despite the numerous technical features, the UniCAN3 data loggers are characterized by very compact housing dimensions of 109 × 45 × 158 mm and can therefore also be installed in confined spaces.
