As a privately held technology company headquartered in Filderstadt near Stuttgart, founded in 1983, CSM is one of the leading independent provider of

measurement technology and data loggers for use in vehicles of all kinds and on the test-bench.

This product portfolio is complemented by

memory card drives, loggers and storage media for versatile industrial applications
programming tools for electronic control units

The measurement technology area encompasses in particular extremely compact CAN bus measurement modules and data loggers that are successfully used worldwide by reputable manufacturers of passenger cars, trucks, special vehicles, tractors, construction machinery, rail vehicles, their suppliers and service providers. These products combine extreme demands (miniaturization, use up to 125 °C, excellent technical data) with an excellent price-performance ratio.

In the drives, loggers & storage media area, we focus on industrial customers and their applications. With our OmniDrive devices for PC, we support an extremely wide range of memory cards. We thereby enable users of older memory cards to connect to the latest operating systems.

In the programming tools area, we focus on tools and devices for the programming and testing of electronic control units.

At the Filderstadt location, CSM employs about 60 people, most of whom are highly qualified engineers.

CSM disposes over modern device equipment, its own test laboratory for EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) studies, our own manufacturing facilities as well as a calibration laboratory with DAkkS-Accreditation (Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH - German Accreditation Body) (DK-15214-01-00).

CSM products and support are available worldwide, centrally from Germany or locally through our subsidiary company CSM Products, Inc. in the U.S., our liaison office in France, as well as through our carefully selected and trained sales partners.
